Mike Anderson
Vice President, Engineering
Mike Anderson is vice president of Engineering for Raytheon, an RTX business specializing in integrated air and missile defense, advanced sensors, space-based systems, hypersonics and effectors. In this role, he oversees a team of more than 24,000 world-class engineers innovating new technologies and enhancing existing capabilities that align to our customers’ priorities across Raytheon’s strategic business units.
Anderson brings more than 25 years of engineering, technology development and program execution experience to this position, including engineering design and development in advanced flight deck solutions and mission systems, and with products that span communications, networking, navigation, tactical situational awareness, strategic deterrence, secure processing, simulation and training, and integrated flight display systems.
Prior to this role, Anderson was vice president at Collins Aerospace, an RTX business, leading the Engineering & Technology organization within the Mission Systems strategic business unit. He also led his organization’s strategy associated with the Connected Battlespace strategic road maps and its digital engineering transformation.
Anderson earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science and mathematics from the University of Iowa and a master’s degree in business administration from Iowa State University.
