Satair and RTX’s Collins Aerospace extend 50-year relationship
Four-year contract solidifies broad aftermarket support of oxygen systems, lighting solutions and beverage makers
ATLANTA - MRO Americas (April 9, 2025) – Satair and Collins Aerospace, an RTX (NYSE: RTX) business, have signed a four-year extension of their cabin interior parts distribution agreement, continuing a relationship that has spanned more than 50 years. The agreement continues to ensure products can be delivered quickly and efficiently, with distribution rights of Collins’ line of oxygen systems, Goodrich® lighting solutions, and beverage makers for Airbus, Boeing and many other platforms.
The strategic agreement combines the inventory management, forecasting and delivery expertise of Satair with Collins’ premium cabin interior solutions. It covers emergency supplemental oxygen equipment, galley equipment for on-board beverage service, and a range of cabin and external lighting products, including logo, wing, landing, navigation, emergency, anti-collision and taxi lights.
“This extension builds on our long-standing collaboration with Collins Aerospace, allowing us to provide airlines and maintenance, repair and overhaul facilities worldwide with critical safety and comfort products,” said Cindy da Silva, Director of OEM Product Management at Satair. “Our combined expertise ensures reliable support and availability for these essential systems.”
"As a leading provider of cabin interior products and solutions, Collins’ airline customers rely on aftermarket speed and agility to keep fleets operational and ensure the highest levels of passenger comfort and safety,” said John Baske, vice president of Services & Support at Collins Aerospace. “Satair’s customer reach and supply chain prowess ensure our airline customers receive premium support no matter where they are around the globe.”
Since the start of their relationship in 1974, Satair and Collins Aerospace have steadily expanded their collaboration, initially focused on oxygen systems and later adding the beverage and lighting product lines. Satair is also the authorized distributor of Collins electrical, environmental control and engine system parts, as well as its fire protection equipment. This latest extension reflects both companies’ ongoing commitment to providing high-quality aviation products and reliable support to the global market.
